Payment Policy:
All payments are due on check in. Full advance payment or your credit card details (Visa, Master Card, AMEX) is required to secure a booking. A 3% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions except AMEX where a 4% charge applies.
Children’s Policy:
We are child friendly and welcome all ages. Children sleeping in supplied bedding incur a fee of $35 per child per night. Children under the age of two years stay free of charge.
We have available porta cots, high chairs free of cost.
It is recommended that children under seven years of age do not hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Please call us for suggestions for more suitable walks.
Cancellation Policy:
If a cancellation is made within 72 hours of the booked arrival date, the full booking amount will be charged - If we re-sell your cancelled accommodation, the full booking amount will be refunded.
COVID-19 UPDATE & VOLCVANIC UNREST: We offer free cancellation with 72 hours notice prior to check in. We follow the Ministry of Health Guidelines and as always have strict cleaning procedures and sanitising, Department of Conservation updates keep us updated on all volcanic status. we are more then happy to chat to you about it Vaccine passes are not required. If you feel uneasy about our policies I would recommend travel insurance.
Group Bookings:
We are happy to accommodate groups and chat about what requirements are needed. Our expectation is to ensure a friendly, warm, fun and relaxed atmosphere. A group booking has a 30-day cancellation policy.
Late Check-in:
Reception closes at 7.00pm. If you arrive after this time, we will organize a late in check in for you with an arrival letter at the front door.
Check in is from 2 pm; check out is by 10 am. We are more then happy for you to check in early - ask us if your room is ready.
Late checkouts are available until 1pm and will incur a fee. $55 per room. Please specify if a late checkout is required at the time of reservation.
